A Victorian Hotel built between 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. It stands as a landmark on the North Pier overlooking the town of Oban and Oban Bay, to the Isles of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore and the Mountains of Morven.

Originally built as a summer residence by the Duke of Argyll in 1870, Dungallan Country House is situated on the edge of the town of Oban.
